Answer: Synopsis The authors in the article have been able to demonstrate the multi criteria analysis applied to the stakeholder groups of various organizations. Through the application of the Multi Criteria Analysis (MCA), the authors have been able to address various dilemmas associated with the sustainable development in the decision making related to the project evaluation. The authors have been able to contrast the potential usefulness of the stakeholders in respective of their ability to contribute towards the sustainable development with more social costs benefit analysis and convenient Multi Criteria Analysis (MCA) approach. This evaluation through the utilization of the stakeholder analysis and management would be helping in satisfying the private, economic, social, and environmental targets of the organizations. Critique According to De Brucker, Macharis and Verbeke (2013), the stakeholders can be regarded as the players of the game in context of the project being implemented by the business organizations. The authors are of the opinion that the multi criteria analysis (MCA) is the rules of the game which helps in analyzing and managing the stakeholders in order to meet the goals and objectives of a particular project becoming implemented by the business organizations. The authors have postulated four conditions for the sustainable development of a particular project viz., (i) participation of multiple stakeholder groups, (ii) counterbalancing the excessive power of the stakeholders that could hamper with the proper conduction of the project (iii) addressing the distributional issues in the multi criteria analysis (MCA) focusing on the environmental and social effects, (iv) selection of an aggression procedure for addressing the project selection. According to the authors, these four conditions would be helping in keeping the sustainable developments of the project in the right directions. Reflection The article deals in exploiting the contribution of the multi criteria analysis (MCA) towards the sustainable development in respective of the complex project evaluation for the business organizations. The introduction of the specifically designed conditions would be helping in enhancing the capacity of the multi criteria analysis (MCA) and achieving balanced stakeholder management. The application of the MCA methods in the stakeholder analysis and management would be helping in the sustainable development of larger scale projects.
